His sire, Dusty Joe (Flaming Arrow x Sneakers Image), 1976-2002 was the last known Morgan Stallion with a sire line to Lamont, by Juzan by Jubilee King. Lamont, full brother to Squire Burger was powerfully bred carrying concentrated Classic Morgan breeding to Daniel Lambert through Jubilee King, and to the finest old Vermont breeding through Daisy, Knox Morgan, Billy Bodette, and others. We were lucky to find Dusty Joe, after much research and a search throughout the US. Dusty Joe also carried concentrated rare lines to Winterset, Linsley, Headlight and Sellman Breeding.
Legacy's dam, Whippoorwill Memento (Whippoorwill Skylark x Whippoorwill Keepsake) carries concentrated breeding of Squire Burger with Whippoorwill Duke, Red Correll and old New England breeding. Bred by Mary Jean Vasiloff of Whippoorwill Morgans fame, Memento proved an extraordinary match with Dusty Joe.
